Manifesto
Technology creates possibilities. But possibilities alone do not create value.
We exist to help organisations move beyond hype, shortcuts and isolated experiments, and turn ambition into measurable, lasting progress.

Background
From data scientist to programme leader
Altaïra was founded by Frantz Zizzari after more than fifteen years in data and AI, across industries from software development and telecommunications to banking. Most recently he led the Data & AI Centre of Excellence at BIL, after several years at EY.
A data scientist by trade, Frantz has led AI projects and teams, from advanced analytics to full-scale operational AI. But great AI requires a great data foundation. This led him to work on long-lasting, smoothly evolving data platforms, governance and quality frameworks, the prerequisites for valuable, durable AI. He then led major data programmes, covering:
- Architectures enabling AI solutions to run at scale, with costs monitored and business-case value tracked continuously;
- Data quality solutions, such as a global monitoring tool built on a dedicated quality data cube, pinpointing how data can break or bias operational processes and AI models;
- Data platforms designed not only for the use cases already planned, but also for the ones nobody has imagined yet;
- Governance and organisational setups that keep business data processes running smoothly.
By combining lessons learned across sectors, both successes and failures, Altaïra brings what has worked in one industry to the next, and knows the substance end to end well enough to challenge it.
What we believe
Business comes before technology.
The starting point is the problem to solve, not the latest tool, model or trend.
Production is where value begins.
A prototype shows potential. A solution works securely, reliably and economically at scale.
Governance must enable action.
Proportionate governance creates trust, improves decisions and lets organisations move forward with confidence.
Our values
Curiosity
We look past the initial request to the need behind it.
Courage
We say what needs to be said, even when it is not the comfortable answer.
Impact
We judge our work by the business value it creates, not by activity or the number of deliverables.
Independence
No hidden interest shapes our advice.
Integrity
We do what we say, and we say what we do.
